Italian Creamy Salad Dressing
Behind the scene in the Chef Gosselin bat cave kitchen in Gotham City… I am always trying to reinvent a recipe by copy catting something I have always liked. A good Italian Creamy salad dressing like that of Olive Garden is a worthy weapon in your arsenal of food recipes. I love a great salad and have decent enough command over tastes that I make more outlandish salad dressings in a spontaneous fashion to challenge my tongue just because I can. I will help you add to your delight by offering some of these dressings as I make them.
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp light corn syrup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 tbsp grated Romano Pecarino cheese
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
Place all ingredients in your food processor or blender and puree for 1/2 min or until smoothly blended.
Taste and if too tart add a minute amount of sugar and blend again. This will store for about 5 -6 days in refrigerator.
