Maya’s Chicken Broccoli Casserole

Maya Vallejo presents a classic casserole dish that can be served as a mian entree or a side dish. This is a great holiday treat for any guest. Let’s make Maya’s Chicken Broccoli Casserole.

1 cup 5 minute brown rice
– 2 chicken breasts
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 tsp garlic paste
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp garlic salt
– 1 tsp onion salt
– 1 packet of sazon
– 1 tablet of chicken bouillon
– 2 cups of water
– ½ cup sour cream
– ½ cup heavy cream
– 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
– 1 cup mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
– 1 10.5 oz can of cheddar and broccoli soup
– 2 cups of cheese shredded for the top

Take the rice and put it in a pot with 2 cups of water and let it cook until ready
2. While the rice is cooking take 2 whole chicken breasts and season them with salt,
smoked paprika, garlic powder, garlic salt, garlic paste, black pepper, onion salt,
sazon, and chicken bouillon
3. Once the chicken is seasoned put it into a pan with water and boil it until it is
cooked
4. When the chicken is cooked drain the water into a cup and complete it with water
until you have 2 cups (save it for later)

5. Take the chicken and shred it into a bowl
6. Add the chopped broccoli florets mild cheddar cheese, cheddar and broccoli soup,
sour cream and heavy cream
7. Mix together and add more salt if needed
8. After that put it into a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish and cover with aluminum foil
9. Bake it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
10. Once it is done remove the aluminum foil and add the cheese on top
11. Place it back in the oven for 15 more minutes
12. Once it finished, Serve and enjoy ! 🙂
