The crustini (crostini) is a great table munchie that can make a table setting stand out. My mentor and lifelong friend Richard is getting married to his sweetheart Elizabeth. I am posting this recipe for this wonderful couple to display some nice, quick foods that can be made ahead of time and frozen or refrigerated and placed on the table in baskets for the wedding reception. Fast, easy and delicious is the key point…. but makes the table look inviting to the guest.
I am making these to bring should they want my assistance?????
This is a great, quick, easy to create dish to pep up an unexciting table. I have used this time and time again to get the eating attendees calmed down and in their places. Food lures that chatty person and anchors them where you want them. Hope this helps.
Baguette (enough for your event)
Olive oil
salt
Black pepper
garlic powder
Parmesan cheese (grated or shredded)
Slice the baguette on the bias with your bread knife
Place baguette slices on a baking tray
Preheat oven 350F
Drizzle olive oil on baguette slices
Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the olive oil
Top with parmesan cheese.
Bake for up to 20 min or until toasted.
You can store these in the refrigerator for a week or freeze them if needed.
Richard….Elizabeth….If you want I will prepare this for the wedding. I am posting some additional thoughts that I will donate to the moment. Congratulations! My gift to you is ME! I will help as needed. Use my website and my brain for some thoughts and especially use my talents. I can take the burden off your shoulders.
