Easy Peasy Taco Seasoning

Taco seasoning is really easy to create formula made from seven ingredients that many of us have in the cupboard.  Chili powder, onion powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper are the seasonings needed. I will share with you the portions. Let’s make some taco seasoning so I can next display the taco meal I am making my gal for lunch.

This is a really easy recipe to create. The taco seasoning will keep about 6 months if you store it in a lidded jar out of the sunlight. Here is the formula that I use at home.

Why buy this…..when you can create this!

1 tbsp black pepper

2 tbsp kosher salt

1/3 cup onion powder

2 tbsp ground cumin

1/2 cup chili powder

1 tbsp smoked paprika

2 tbsp garlic powder

Place all measured ingredients in a small jar.

Tighten the lid and shake the ingredients until well incorporated.

3 tbsp of mix equals one store-bought packet.
