The markets in my Louisville KY area are starting to have great treats for my wanting stovetop. Local greens are in season and if you fail to get to market as they open you miss the best growers, as the most awesome produce sells out almost immediately. I have already gone through the yellow squash opener and I missed the fresh greens last weekend. It would have been nice to make a Basmati rice and have a southern collard green on top with some ham. I will get up earlier on Saturday morning and make way to market to beat the restaurant buyers.
