Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts


The notion that you can make a sprout taste better than a sprout by wrapping in bacon and baking until the bacon is crisped is tongue tying. I saw a finger food idea on Pinterest and went for it on behalf of my gal who loves Brussel Sprouts and I was the one that fell for the dish. It was very good…and I will make this over and over again.

Let’s wrap some Brussel Sprouts in bacon and bake them…and then eat them

13 oz bag of frozen Brussel Sprouts

6 strips of thin cut bacon cut into thirds

fresh ground black pepper

2 tsp Dijon mustard


Wrap frozen Brussel sprouts with a cut piece of bacon. (I found that 1/3 a strip did well)

Place bacon wrapped brussel sprout on a cooking sheet

Preheat over 350F degrees

Place a small dab of Dijon mustard on the bacon wrapped brussel sprout

Sprinkle a small dusting of black pepper over the sprouts

Place in oven in center rack

Bake until bacon is crisp (20-25 min)


I can eat a whole package of these sprouts by myself if given a chance…..enjoy!
