Keto Cheddar Cheese Crisp
When on any food replacement diet you really need go to items like snacks and desserts. If you notice that I am making a few of these recipes first for this Keto Diet… you can understand that my effort is to give you some tools to remain on the diet before you get discouraged. Lets make these Cheese Crisps and test them out.
1 cup Almond flour
1 tsp Tuscan Seasoning (See Below my recipe included)
1/2 cups fine ground Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup fine ground Asiago cheese
1 cup shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 oz Cream cheese (room temperature)
This is a nice recipe to have in your arsenal of Keto Diet Plan items. Not too hard to create and you can make these a week ahead of time and freeze.
Preheat oven to 350F
Add all ingredients to mixing bowl and mix by hand or with paddle until well blended.
Place all ingredients on parchment paper making sure that your parchment is large enough to cover your sheet pan
Place a second sheet of parchment over the cheese mix (sandwiching the mix between the parchment)
Using a dough roller, roll out the cheese mix between the parchment until it spreads out to 1/8″ thick
Remove the top piece of parchment
Use Pizza cutter to make your 1″ x 1″ cheese squares ( do not move them from the parchment)
Use fork to make some docking mark in the squares (helps the baking)
Transfer the crackers to your baking sheet
Bake on center rack for 8-14 min
Remove and allow to cool
Break crackers apart
You can store these in a sealed baggy in the freezer.
6 tablespoons dried basil
3 tablespoons granulated garlic
3 tablespoons kosher or flaked sea salt
2 tablespoons dried or crushed rosemary
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons dried thyme
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoons dried parsley
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flake
Combine ingredients well in a mixing bowl
Place in shaker jar and seal for future use.
